Emiway Bantai began his rap journey around 2010-2011 when he was in 10th grade. He was introduced to rap by his friend, Jake Pole, and instantly fell in love with it.
One day, Emiway came across a famous rap song called “Not Afraid” by Eminem, and it left a profound impact on him. He couldn’t help but hum and memorize the song, and soon he found himself reciting it to his amazed friends at school. Their encouragement further fueled his passion for rapping.
Although his family had hoped for him to pursue a career in medicine (MBBS), Emiway’s newfound love for rap completely changed his ambitions. His focus shifted from the medical field to becoming a rapper, and he immersed himself in writing and practicing rap songs.
Unfortunately, his dedication to rap led him to neglect his studies, and he failed his 12th-grade exam. Consequently, he made the difficult decision to leave school behind and pursue his dreams in rap.
